RETURN POLICY
All returns need to include all the original parts, accessories and instruction manuals and must be in the original box. Items that have cut wires, dents, scratches, show signs of installation or are missing the original product manuals will not be accepted for return or exchange or credit. Please contact your sales representative so that we may issue a RMA number and special return address before the item is shipped back. Items are not returnable without a pre-authorized RMA number and subject to a 25% restocking fee. Any items returned without a pre-authorized RMA # will be denied credit.
There are no returns on special order and/or custom fixtures and/or devices made to customers required specifications.
Credits and refunds on returned items will be issued within business 5 days from receipt of the merchandise at our processing center once they have been evaluated.
Damaged Shipments
Always inspect your shipment when it arrives. If anything is damaged please contact us immediately. Damaged goods claims need to be reported within 7 business days from date of delivery. No replacements for damaged products will be sent after 7 days.
Bulb Policy
Cost Less Lighting will not be responsible for defective or damaged lamps that arrive broken from shipping on fixtures that include lamps or state “Lamp Included” in the description. If we include the lamps or bulbs they are free with the fixture and are non replaceable due to damage claims. For bulbs that are purchased and arrive broken, the customer must contact (the shipping company direct and file a claim) FedEx at 1-800-GO-FEDEX (our default shipper) and file a claim. Cost Less Lighting reserves the right to replace or credit the customer.
Battery Policy
Cost Less Lighting covers NiCad and lead acid batteries under warranty. The NiCad batteries are covered for the first 5 years of use on a pro-rated basis. For each year the battery is in use in an application, 20% is deducted from the cost of the battery based on our internet pricing at the time of the warranty claim. The lead acid batteries are covered for the first 2 years of use on a pro-rated basis. For each year the battery is in use in an application, 50% is deducted from the cost of the battery based on our internet pricing at the time of the warranty claim.

Shipping & Handling
Stock orders that exceed $300 and that are being shipped to a location within the contiguous 48 states will not be charged freight. Orders must be shipping to one location using the carrier of our choice to qualify for free shipping. Telephone and website orders totaling less than $300 will be charged freight. Most orders ship UPS Ground unless otherwise specified by the customer and are usually delivered within 3-7 business days, depending on the customer’s location and carrier’s operations. If an order is shipped via skid, customer is responsible for unloading the goods and having a facility able to receive a skid. Please have the necessary unloading equipment readily available at the shipment destination. All orders will be processed and shipped within 48 hours after stock level is confirmed.
If an order requires an expedited service, please contact our customer service department at 866-633-6883. Additional freight charges will apply. Orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and other locations not in the contiguous 48 states are not eligible for the free freight with a purchase of $300.00 offer.
